Background: I have 29 years experience in Education as a math teacher in Aldine ISD, Edgewood ISD and Mesquite ISD. I then served as an Assistant principal in Mesquite ISD, and was lucky enough to make may way to Kemp in 2007 as Principal of the Junior High. I then served as Director of Special Programs, and now I am fortunate to serve as the Superintendent for Kemp ISD. I have been married to my wife Donna for 25 years, and we have 3 wonderful children, Alyssa 17, Amanda 17, and Andrew 14. My interests include spending time with family, sports, and working outside in the yard.
Message: "I am excited about the wonderful students, parents, community members, and staff that I get to work with on a daily basis. My goal is to provide our students the best educational opportunities. I want every student to graduate from Kemp ISD with the skills they need to be successful in whatever they wish to pursue.
