My name is Stefanie Stewart, I am the new Assistant Principal, here at KJH. I am honored and excited to serve the junior high campus, the district and the community. This is my 9th year in education. I most recently worked at Crandall High School as an English teacher and prior to that I was here at Kemp High School (2013-2018) as an English teacher. I am happy to be back at Kemp ISD and I am looking forward to working with and getting to know everyone.
Education is a passion of mine and I believe EVERY student deserves a high-quality education that will empower them to be successful in their life and in their next educational journey. I believe in setting high expectations and challenging our students to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
When I’m not on campus, you can find me and my husband Jason (also a teacher) rushing around to the many activities that come with 2 kids, Emerson is 14 ,she will start high school this year and Cooper is 12 who will be in junior high. We are a busy, fun, God loving family and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it. –
