I grew up and attended K-12th grade in Wills Point, Texas where I graduated in 2009. I started my college education at Tyler Junior College where I received my Associate degree in Music in May of 2012. I then attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I received my Bachelor in Music Education in May of 2015.
This is my fourth year at Kemp ISD, and I am currently one of the Band Directors at the Junior High and High School campuses. I also teach color guard for the High School Band.
I am excited about this school year and am looking forward to the growth and success of our students! Teaching band gives me the opportunity to share my love for music with my students!
"If we do not share what we have been given, then the gift was never truly received. Every gift given is meant to be passed along."                                                                                                                                                   - Carrie Gress
