Jamie Martin » About

I have been teaching and coach for a few years now, and overall I have been teaching for over 10 years now. I am a native of Cedar Creek Lake, having been born and raised in Eustace, Texas. I graduated from Eustace High School. I then went to coach at Navarro Junior College. I then transferred to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. I majored in History and minored in Coaching and Social Studies. I have also attended classes at the University of Texas at Tyler. I've coached football, basketball, baseball, and track. I have been in the district for nearly 10 years and look forward to building on the accomplishments I have had here.

I am also the Founder, Creator, and General Manager for programs that I have started here at Kemp ISD. These programs include "Jacket Radio." Jacket Radio is a student run radio station dedicated to the community and district of Kemp ISD. The app is available on Google Play and Apple App Stores. The second program is "Jacket Radio Podcast Network." This is a program in which students create, record, and edit a series of podcast that are available anywhere you get your podcast. Lastly, there is "Jacket Design Labs." This is a student run print shop specializing in servicing the community and school, and selling merchandise from the spirit shop located in room 1201 at the High School. “If you are bored with life, if you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things – you don’t have enough goals.”
Lou Holtz
“Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don’t quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don’t quit until you reach it. Never quit.”
