I am tremendously excited to be joining the Kemp Junior High family. This will be my third year as a teacher, and my first at the secondary level. I previously taught fifth grade reading & social studies at Frisco and Terrell respectively. I'm a born and bred Texan, having been born in Dallas and raised in The Colony. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts in language arts. I have a passion for story analysis which led me to become an ELAR teacher.
I believe that every student deserves a fair and quality education in order to be a fully free individual. Knowledge is key to not just finding a job or making a livable wage, but in order to better understand, manage and appreciate the world that we inhabit. I will treat all my students with the respect and dignity that they deserve on their path to becoming a free adult. If you should ever want to contact me regarding your child, I am more than happy to communicate. My email can be found below.
