“I attended Christ For the Nations for a music minor as well as Tyler Junior College, the University of Texas at Tyler, and Southwestern Mississippi college. I have lived and studied in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Mexico. I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in English and Spanish from UT Tyler. I have taught Spanish at Kemp HS for five years and been the Spanish Club sponsor for two years.”

Club Information

Meetings: Tuesdays at 3:40 PM in Room 2106

The Spanish Club is open for anyone who loves the Spanish language and culture, even if you cannot speak it well. Membership forms are outside Ms.Sanders Room, 2106. There is a $20 fee for snacks and drinks for meetings.

Trip Information:

In the Spring of 2023, the club took a trip to San Antonio for three days and took in all the sites as well as Six Flags Fiesta Texas.Two years ago we went to Six Flags in Arlington. The next few meetings we will be brainstorming ideas of places to go and things to see. Every student must raise their own money to cover the cost of the trip.
