The student’s parent, legal guardian or other person having lawful control under a court order or a student who has reached the age of 18 years of age shall be permitted to enroll and complete campus registration forms. A parent or legal guardian who presents false documents, false records, or falsifies information on a form that is required for enrollment, commits a criminal offense under Penal Code 37.10. A result, this person may be prosecuted or may be liable for tuition and other costs.

STEP 1: Create a ParentPortal User Account:
Under “New Student Enrollment” Click Create Account.
1. Registration – User Info
- Create your User Name (6 to 25 alphanumeric characters).
- Create your Password (8 to 46 characters and must contain at least 3 of these character types: uppercase, lowercase, numeric, special characters. This is case sensitive).
- Re-enter your password to Confirm it. Must match exactly.
- Enter your eMail address and confirm it.
- Optional - Enter your Mobile Number (10 digits).
- Click Next.
2. Registration – Hint Question
- Select question and enter answer (case sensitive) to help you retrieve your password if forgotten.
- Click Next.
• Click Finish.
Verifying Account:
- Verify your Email Address by clicking link received via email. (check your junk/spam folder)
- Verify your Mobile Number by entering the code received via text.
- Once email is validated you must log out and log back into ParentPortal.
STEP 2: Enroll a New Student:
1. Click Enroll a New Student on the My Account page.
2. Scroll down and enter Student’s legal Name
3. Click Continue.
Enrollment Key
- Type the letters in the blank field below them.
- Click Continue.
- “Your key has been created and verified”.
- Click Continue.
Addresses and Contacts
Add physical and mailing addresses for the student, family members, and other contacts.
- Click Add Address. The Address Manager window opens.
- Type the complete Physical Address and Mailing Address in the fields provided. If you do not enter data in a required field, a message is displayed when you click “Save”, and you must provide the data to continue.
- Click Save. The window closes. To add another address, click Add Address again.
- Click Edit next to the address to make changes.
- Click Save to save your updates.
- Under Family Contacts, enter contact information for up to six of the student’s family and emergency contacts. (YOU MUST HAVE MORE THAN ONE CONTACT FOR YOUR STUDENT(S)
- Click Add Contact. Enter data in the fields. Scrolling may be required in order to view all fields.
- Click Save.
- To add another contact, click Add Contact.
- To edit an existing contact, click Edit next to the contact.
- Click Save to save your updates.
- Click Continue.
Step 3 – Student Information
BE SURE TO READ CAREFULLY AND FILL OUT THE SPECIAL PROGRAMS REQUEST, (this is to ensure we get your student the services they need as soon as possible).
• Click Document (-) next to any documents that you need to upload. Locate and upload the document. (required to complete the Enrollment)
Acceptable proof of residency for new in-district students require the following items:
- A copy of a current (current or previous month) utility bill (electric, gas or water) with parent/guardian name
- A current lease showing parent/guardian name as lessee or tenant
- Current Mortgage Statement (within same month) OR Kaufman County Appraisal District proof of ownership in parent/guardian name
In addition to proof of residence, new students will need to provide the following documents to complete enrollment and begin school.
- Students current immunization record (view requirements)
- Student's birth certificate (click here to order)
- Student's social security card
- Parent/legal guardian driver’s license or picture ID (provide when the student is enrolled and if the parent/legal guardian changes)
- Last report card for elementary grade level and transcript for secondary grade levels
- PreK students must be ages 3 or 4 by September 1 and must meet the eligibility requirements and provide documentation.

If necessary, click on "save" and continue later. Once you complete it, click "Enroll Student" to submit to the district.
For in-person enrollment help, please contact your student’s campus to set up an appointment. A valid email is required and you must have your required documents to complete it.
